The Kanakaavati Kṣhetra
Sakala Jana Parihara Kshetramu

In the field of astrology today, different branches such as Sayana Siddhanta (Astronomical Calculations), Phalita Jyotishya (Predictive Astrology), Prakṛuthi Jyotishya (Natural astrology), and Desha Bhavishya (National predictions) are followed.

  • Sayana Siddhanta is used for almanac creation (Panchanga).
  • Phalita Jyotishya helps individuals understand their past, present, and future.
  • Various spiritual practices such as penance, yajnas (sacrificial rituals), vows, charity, and pilgrimages are suggested to mitigate the effects of karmic actions.

Throughout history, sacred sites (Parihara Kṣhetra’s) have been formed where deities either relieved themselves of curses, manifested due to the penance of sages, or were established by divine will. The rituals and offerings performed at these sites allow devotees to neutralize negative karmas.

However, as per the Yaksha Jyotishya Grandhas, over 270 such sacred sites were once known, but today only 108 remain accessible. Additionally, at many of these sites, the prescribed rituals and worship methods are either lost or not widely practiced.

For a site to be considered a Parihara Kṣhetram, it must contain:

  • A Rishi (Sage)
  • A Gudi (Temple)
  • A Tirtha (Sacred Water Source)
  • A Vriksha (Sacred Tree)

The prescribed Ṣoḍasopachara (16-step worship ritual) must be conducted at these sites using sacred leaves, flowers, fruits, and offerings, ensuring the purification of the devotee’s karma. This principle led to the establishment of the Kanakaavati Kṣhetram in Yaksha Loka, a divine realm.

Kanakaavati Kṣhetram in the Palm-Leaf Scriptures

The Tala Patra Grandha’s contain a detailed description of Kanakaavati Kṣhetram, which was studied and compiled over 12 years by Sri Ramakrishna Yateendra. The scriptures provide intricate details, including:

  • Temple blueprints and measurements
  • Names of the Kaalachakra Adhidevatas (Presiding Deities of Time)
  • Sacred forests and ponds that need to be created
  • Primary mantras and offerings for each deity
  • Prescribed attire and seating arrangements for rituals
  • Duties of temple priests
  • Qualifications required for entering the temple

This extensive knowledge is documented across 3,000 pages, covering:

  • 108 types of sacred trees
  • 25 types of ritual garlands
  • 18 temple enclosures
  • 27 divine tree spirits (Vriksha Devatas)
  • 25 styles of musical chanting for divine offerings

In this sacred Parihara Kṣhetram, individuals who perform penance, yajnas, vows, charity, and pilgrimages as prescribed for their specific deities will have their karmic burdens removed and their desires fulfilled. Through the dissolution of karma, devotees can ultimately attain moksha (liberation).

Yaksha Worship and Kaalachakra Divine Energy:

The Kaalachakra Parihara Kṣhetram, Kanakaavati, is described in the Tala Patra Grandha’s as a place where divine energies flourish eternally alongside Kalaratri (Goddess of Darkness and Time) and Kalabhairava (Lord of Time and Destruction). Worship at this site grants:

  • Success in all endeavors
  • Improved education, health, marriage, progeny, career, financial prosperity, and ultimate liberation

The grand temple complex, spanning 1000 acres, is set to become an unparalleled sacred site, the likes of which have never been seen before.
