Kaalachakra Mahayaga
(The Great Ritual of Time)

When Sri Ramakrishna Yateendra examined the ancient palm-leaf scriptures (Talapatra Granthas), he discovered an important celestial event occurring on December 1, 2024 a Sunday, under the Anuradha Nakshatra on Amavasya Tithi at 5:32 AM. The scriptures revealed that a rare planetary alignment, which occurs only once in 42 years, would take place at that moment. It was written that performing the Kaalachakra Yaga (Great Time Ritual) during this rare conjunction would bring the Kaalachakra deities under divine control, paving the way for the construction of the Kanakaavati Kṣhetram, which exists in the Yaksha realm, on Earth.

In accordance with this divine revelation, Tanneeru Ramakrishna followed the instructions of his Gurus and performed 64 types of charity. He also carefully examined the 3,000 strict ritualistic rules required for the Kaalachakra Yaga. Furthermore, the scriptures mentioned that the 29th disciple in the lineage of Maṇibhadra would be the one to complete this grand ritual. Inspired by this prophecy, Ramakrishna Yateendra took up the challenge and embarked on this sacred mission.

Conducting the Kaalachakra Mahayaga was no ordinary task. Unlike conventional rituals, no special invitations or appeals were made for participation. The scriptures already foretold who would arrive, in what form, and how they would contribute to the Yaga. To ensure the Yaga’s completion, Tanneeru Ramakrishna and Upendhra Chary, along with his disciples, undertook a rigorous fasting and penance. Overcoming numerous tests, obstacles, and divine trials, they carried out the month-long Yaga with unwavering devotion, intelligence, and commitment.

This Yaga was one of the most challenging rituals ever performed by humankind. Throughout the process, various celestial beings tested their resolve by creating hindrances, but they overcame every trial through sheer spiritual strength. The Yaga successfully invoked 246 deities, channelling their divine energy onto Earth.

The ritual setup was monumental

  • 13 sacred fire pits (Homa Kundas)
  • 246 divine thrones for the deities, each adorned with consecrated Kalashas (sacred pots)
  • At the center, a grand throne for Kalaratri (Goddess of the Night) and Kalabhairava (Lord of Time)
  • A dedicated temple structure illuminated by eternal oil lamps (Aṣṭa Taila Dipas)

Several types of worship were conducted, including

  • Shakti Puja, Bhairava Puja, Trimurti Puja
  • Katyayani Puja, Graha Puja, Ṣoḍasakala Puja (16 Kalas Puja)
  • Ahoratra Puja (Day & Night Worship), Navabrahma Puja (Nine Brahmas Worship)
  • Prajapati Puja, Yogini Puja, Panchakanya Puja (Five Divine Virgins Worship)
  • Aṣṭamatrika Puja, Apsaras Puja, Sanatkumara Puja, Siva Gaṇas Puja
  • Gandharva Puja, Ekadasa Rudra Puja, Dvadasa Aditya Puja, Sangara Puja, Dasa Puja (Servants of God Worship)

Sacred Offerings for the Yaga

  • 12 types of sacred forests
  • 25 varieties of fruits
  • 14 types of tubers
  • 18 types of flowers
  • 18 varieties of sacred leaves
  • 8 types of leafy greens
  • 19 types of vegetables
  • 8 different colours of fabric
  • 246 varieties of food offerings
  • 47 types of medicinal herbs

A special hut made of Darbha grass was constructed for Ramakrishna Yateendra, where an eternal lamp was kept burning alongside sacred mantra-infused water (Amṛitha Jala). This water, stored in 108 sacred Kalashas, was later poured over a divine Rudraksha bead named ‘Bhaḍrakhṣa’, which was consecrated inside a Siva Linga.

Completion of the Yaga and Divine Blessings:

After the Yaga’s successful completion, Bhadraakṣa Rudraksha was given as a sacred relic to Ramakrishna Yateendra, while the Amṛitha Jala from the Siva Linga was used to bless devotees through a ritual bath.

As per the prophecy in the Tala Patra Grandha, Tanneeru Ramakrishna Yateendra was recognized as the 29th era person in his guru Parampara line to successfully complete the trials, fulfilling the divine will. The sacred Tala Patra Grandha, which had been preserved in Srisailam for 28 generations, was ceremoniously retrieved and its divine energy merged into the principal Śiva Linga, marking a historic moment in human spiritual history.

The scriptures further reveal that the next Kaalachakra planetary alignment will occur on November 28, 2054, making it the ideal time for the next Kaalachakra Yaga.
