General Conduct and Discipline
- Every student must have a deep desire to learn, practice, and uphold Sanatana Dharma.
- The student shall show utmost respect to the Pradhana Aacharya, Gurus, and spiritual mentors.
- A student must dedicate himself to spiritual practices with sincerity and avoid worldly distractions.
- Ego, arrogance, and disobedience are strictly prohibited.
- The student must refrain from criticizing other spiritual paths or engaging in unnecessary debates.
- The student must wake up before Brahma Muhurta (around 4:00 AM) and engage in:
- Morning ablutions and self-purification
- Japa (chanting), meditation, and Surya Namaskara
- Participation in temple rituals and prayers
- He must attend all classes, discourses, and training sessions without fail.
- A student must perform self-study, memorization of scriptures, and written practice every day.
- A student must engage in seva (service) to the Gurukul and temple premises, including cleaning, organizing, and assisting Gurus.
- Silence (Mouna) must be observed for at least one hour daily, as prescribed by the Gurus.
Learning & Curriculum
- Vedas and Upanishads
- Jyotishya Shastra (Astrology)

- Yoga Sadhana (Asanas, Pranayama, Dhyana, Kundalini Awakening)
- Mantra Sadhana and Tantra Vidya
- Dharma Shastra and Agama Scriptures
- Yagnas, Homas, and Ritualistic Practices
- The student must attend every session with full concentration and reverence.
- No student shall question the Guru’s teachings with arrogance; all doubts must be cleared with humility.
- The syllabus will be followed as per the guidance of Pradhana Aacharya and senior Gurus.
- Every student shall be tested periodically on their knowledge, memorization, and practical skills.
- Failing to maintain progress or discipline may lead to additional training or expulsion.
- Certificates of completion will be awarded only to those who excel in learning and practice.
Food and Lifestyle
The student must follow a strictly Saatvik diet consisting of:
- Fruits, vegetables, nuts, grains, and dairy
- No consumption of onion, garlic, spicy, or tamasic food
- The student must eat only once or twice a day, preferably before sunset.
- Fasting on Ekadashi, Purnima, Amavasya, and special occasions is encouraged.
Students must wear traditional attire, which includes:
- A white or Safron dhoti (Madi Vastram) and Aangavastram
- Sacred thread (Yajnopavita) if initiated
- Vibhuti (holy ash) or tilak on the forehead
- No stitched, modern, or inappropriate clothing is allowed.
- Footwear is not permitted inside the learning and temple premises
Spiritual Practices and Discipline
Every student must dedicate a minimum of 6 hours daily to spiritual practices, which include:
- Mantra chanting
- Meditation (Dhyana)
- Agni Karya (fire rituals)
- Scriptural studies
- Attendance at morning and evening aarti, bhajans, and homas is mandatory.
- Each student must maintain a spiritual diary, recording their daily sadhana and learnings.
Students shall not engage in:
- Idle gossip, arguments, or unnecessary discussions
- Usage of mobile phones, social media, or modern entertainment
- Watching movies, listening to music unrelated to spiritual growth
- Any form of violence, intoxication, or disruptive behaviour
- Any violation will lead to strict disciplinary actions, including expulsion.
Social and Ethical Conduct
The student must always:
- Greet Gurus with pranams (prostration) and seek blessings
- Address fellow students with brotherly respect
- Avoid ego, disrespect, or arguments with seniors
- Criticizing, questioning, or disrespecting Gurus will result in strict consequences.
Students must engage in daily service (seva) to maintain humility, including:
- Assisting in temple and gurukul cleaning
- Preparing for rituals and helping in kitchen duties
- Supporting Gurus in spiritual activities
- No student shall demand personal comfort or luxury.
Leaving the Institution
- A student must complete the entire learning cycle as prescribed by the Guru before leaving.
- Upon completion, the Guru may initiate the student into higher spiritual practices or ceremonial duties.
- Rule 12: Expulsion and Disciplinary Actions
A student may be expelled if they:
- Violate ethical conduct
- Disrespect Gurus or teachings
- Engage in misconduct or worldly distractions
- Fail to maintain discipline and spiritual focus

Special Privileges & Blessings
Students who excel in:
- Vedic chanting and memorization
- Astrology, Vaastu, and Shastric knowledge
- Mantra Siddhi and Yoga Sadhana
- Flawless discipline and devotion shall receive special blessings and initiations from the Pradhana Aacharya.
Exceptional students may be selected for:
- Advanced Tantra and Agama studies
- Can be a follower of Guru parampara lineage
- Serving as priests, spiritual guides, or yogic masters
All students must strictly adhere to these rules and regulations to maintain the purity and sanctity of the Kanakaavati Kshetra Kaalachakra Foundation. Any violation will lead to severe disciplinary action. The path of knowledge is also the path of discipline, and only those with sincerity, devotion, and humility shall attain true wisdom.
